We’ve teamed up with Cook County to offer a great value: a $40 discount to spay or neuter your pet during the month of February. To be eligible, your pet’s rabies vaccination must be current with a Cook County Rabies tag on file, which we can provide the same day. This is a very important health benefit, and we urge you to call for more information or to schedule a February appointment. Spaces are limited!
Incredibly, 80% of dogs and 70% of cats show signs of oral disease by age three according to the American Veterinary Dental Society. February is Veterinary Dental Health Month. However, we’re celebrating in March to give our clients more time to take advantage of this opportunity! To help take care of your pet’s teeth, we are offering a 20% discount on routine cleanings. If indicated, our digital dental x-ray equipment can find hidden disease for treatment. Please contact a Patient Care Coordinator as spaces are limited! “I wanted to write a quick note to thank you so very much for the excellent care and overall experience that Lucky received at her appointment yesterday. I cannot emphasize enough how appreciative I am of the careful consideration you gave to her and the education you provided to me about her medical status and needs. Your vet techs and staff were so very kind and helpful as well. Cumulatively, this was a very uncommon experience and without a doubt the best experience we have ever had with a veterinarian! Thank you again and I look forward to both my girls being under your care!

Dr. Holly Pappas, Dr. Ann Vestal, Dr. Andra McKamey and I are acutely aware of the special bond between you and your pet. We recognize that you provide unique insight into your pet’s condition. Therefore, we feature extended appointments that allow us to listen to you and your pet as we strive to provide the best possible veterinary care experience for both of you.
In addition to our commitment to you and your pet, we are also committed to the West Loop community. You will regularly find us at community events and we help support our local dog friendly area. This neighborhood is not only home to us professionally, but several of our staff members also live here. In fact, Dr. Pappas and Dr. Vestal each call this neighborhood home.
As a client of West Loop Veterinary Care, you will discover that we offer the following:
- Extended examinations. Our examination times are a bit longer than those at most veterinary clinics. Our lengthened exams allow us to listen to your input while we thoroughly examine and treat your pet.
- Advanced Medical Care. Our custom-designed, state-of-the-art facility includes computerized records, digital radiography, an in-house lab, top-of-the-line patient monitoring, a dedicated dental and oral surgery suite, and more.
- Specialty Services. We offer echocardiograms and cardiac consultations, orthopedic and advanced soft-tissue surgeries, and ultrasonography services.
- Stress-minimizing environment. From exam rooms set-up to minimize the amount of time your pet needs to be away from you, to a soundproof feline ward—your pet’s comfort and well-being is our top priority.
- In-home care visits (House Calls). Bringing medical care to your home allows your pet to stay in a familiar and comfortable environment.
- An outstanding team. Our team of veterinary professionals offers deep knowledge of their work, a love of animals and a commitment to excellence. From the moment you walk in our door our dedication to you and your pet should be very apparent.
- Environmentally-friendly clinic. We take our role as guardians of our pets and the planet we share, seriously. Every aspect of our facility and operations are designed to minimize our impact on the environment.
