Incredibly, 80% of dogs and 70% of cats show signs of oral disease by age three according to the American Veterinary Dental Society. February is Veterinary Dental Health Month. However, we’re celebrating in March to give our clients more time to take advantage of this opportunity! To help take care of your pet’s teeth, we are offering a 20% discount on routine cleanings. Replacing traditional x-rays, the new system enhances patient care by obtaining quicker and clearer results while eliminating the use of unpleasant chemicals. 2012 Dog Friendly Area (DFA) tags are now available for dog park users. You can get yours at West Loop Veterinary Care. New this year to the requirements for a DFA tag is the need for a Leptospirosis vaccination, which can be given during a technician appointment.
